The Greensboro Youth Council, backed by the city, is a community-driven leadership initiative designed for high school students residing in Greensboro. It welcomes participants from public, private, and home-based schools. Engaging in structured monthly educational programs and team-building activities, members of the Greensboro Youth Council are empowered to evolve into proficient young leaders.

Application Process to Join the Greensboro Youth Council

Eligibility includes high-school aged students, provided they are residents of the City of Greensboro. Greensboro Youth Council members will be chosen based on academics, community service, leadership attributes, character, essay, and recommendations from adult references.  Selected candidates will be called to schedule an interview.
